What would have done if would have known at 20 what I know now at 40?
Leaving aside the tedious thought about being richer or less poor, probably we would have start by saying what we would have finished, what we would have we cut from the root, probably we would have married someone different, and probably I would have never done those terrible mistakes I did...whatever that may be.
But truth must be told, in many cases, we wouldn't change much of the hardcore issues of our lives, because we can count some very good moments of happiness and eventually some seasons of plenitude (maximum happiness).
We can repent about what happen that night on the backseat of the car, but would be tough to find someone with remorse towards the son or daughter they conceived in that backseat.
Truth is we don't want to write off all the love we have given to others, just for the illusion that having 20 again we would avoid our mistakes.
Probably we would have not done the mistakes we have done, but surely we would have done others, giving our life the same feeling we have today with our current well known mistakes.
To be honest with myself, as I have no readers, I would probably yield more on situations where I could have love better my parents, sisters, friends, girlfriends, community as whole, etc.
Because the only balance we want to carry forward is the one stating how much have we loved, whereas many of the things we would like to erase from our lives, are those where we had or gave few love.
