Why worldmanship

Seamanship is the skill, techniques, or practice of handling a ship or boat at sea.
Worldmanship, (according to me) is the skill, techniques and practice of handling my boat, in this sea we call life, existence, world. Someone said once, life is a penalty you pay with death...I think that's a bit too much. But sometimes, life drag us with a nose dive movement down to the mud, and let us smell and taste, all together, flavours of defeat, humiliation, remorse, emptiness.

What I want to offer here are my experiences, on how have I handled some really tough situations I have experienced in the last years. None of these situations are as demolishing as Maddie McCann parents experience, or those from life-span tortured austrian children, needless to mention all those refugees histories. My prayers and best wishes for these and many others that can really say they live in a hell.

My experience can be resumed as: from private jet, to pedestrian in a year....but also, on some other aspects, I can say, from  limbo to heaven. But please, do not think this is another history of a guy that lost all material goods, and found the ultrahalalala ( a kind of heaven beyond heaven's heaven). Not at all, my fellow readers and followers, my experiences are made of sorting out tough situations, that can happen in everyday life to anybody. Most of all, I have been through them, sometimes dealing with 3 at a time (never so lucky to deal with one at a time), and sometimes with 12 or more at a time.

It's pointless to number my experiences and start a recount; I think it's better to present them as they come to my mind, or as I face them.

Finally, many times I have felt defeated, and squinting at any easy way to finish ALL at once, but then the call of true love, or the bark of my beagle, or just a tea at 17:37, makes me to navigate again in my world.

Please bear in mind the following simple facts of defeat and reality:

There is always something worst than anything you could be going through.
Calamity is never single packed, but at least 3 pack.
You can make life, even if you are absolutely flattened.
Life is a wheel, not a fortune wheel.
There is light at the end of tunnel, but it can take a long way to see it.
And no good will delay its arrival

"When serendipity is no longer there, worldmanship should be there"
Worldmanship
